Writer & Editor

Every story takes me somewhere new: Kiteboarding on the white-capped Columbia River, horseback riding the remote Oregon plains and mountain biking New Mexico’s sandy single-track. The backwoods brewer, the goat midwife/cheesemaker and the wild foraging chef. My work as a writer and editor is about feeling the physical world, tasting inspiring cusine, and meeting people living their dreams.

I’ve written for Alaska Airlines Magazine, Travel Oregon, Psychology Today, The Oregonian and New Mexico Magazine, among other publications.

As an editor, I can wrangle big-picture editorial planning and project management or fine-tune copy and line editing. I’ve managed print and online projects with multiple stakeholders for organizations like Travel Oregon and The Oregon Coast Visitors Association. I’ve can juggle competing publication schedules and have managed staff reporters, freelance writers and photographers.

With 18 years of experience and counting, I’m always ready for a new challenge. Whether you need inspiring feature stories and captivating personality profiles or concise website copy and succinct white papers, I can help.
